What are the differences between the various types of Bold detergent?
All Bold products are biological (i.e. they contain enzymes). Bold is available in 4 product forms (powder, liquid, tablet and liquitabs) and in 4 different fragrances (Lavender & Camomile, Spa Minerals, Apple blossom & Lime Zest and Crushed Silk & Jasmine). All Bold detergents provide great cleaning, softness and freshness. The product form you choose is up to you.
Bold Powder
Bold Powder is designed to be dispensed in the drawer of the machine. Bold Powder is available in 4 different fragrances: Lavender & Camomile, Spa Minerals, Apple blossom & Lime Zest and Crushed Silk & Jasmine.
Bold Liquid
The advantage of Bold Liquid is that it dissolves quickly in your machine. It can also be used to pre-treat tough stains. We recommend dispensing from Bold's specially designed dosing ball (a 'Quickball') which can be used to treat stains and then placed on top of your washing in the drum of the machine.

Tablets
Bold tablets are an easy and convenient way to wash your clothes as they are pre-measured, so they're ready to pop straight into the drawer of the machine. Bold Tablets are available in 4 different fragrances: Lavender & Camomile, Spa Minerals, Apple blossom & Lime Zest and Crushed Silk & Jasmine.
Liquitabs
Bold Liquitabs are the ultimate in laundry convenience. Their pre-measured concentrated liquid contain all the cleaning and softening ingredients you need for an average load - there's no mess, no waste and no need to use any dosing devices. Simply place your Bold 2in1 Liquitab in the back of the drum; they'll dissolve completely in the wash, leaving nothing but clean, fresh and soft laundry.
Which product should I use for whites ?
Bold products are great for the whole wash except woollens and silks. For whites, we would recommend you use Bold Tablets or Bold Powder since both contain fabric safe oxygen based bleaching agents.
What effects can Bold have on skin? Do the products cause allergies or skin irritation?
Under conditions of normal use, Bold laundry detergents are not expected to cause any skin irritation or allergic reactions. Under conditions of misuse and exaggerated exposure involving prolonged skin contact with the concentrated product, Bold laundry detergents may cause mild, transient skin irritation reactions.
Skin Irritation:
There are many circumstances in everyday life which may cause skin problems to the average person and are not related to the use of laundry detergents. They include, for example, illness, consumption of medicines, foods, or beverages, contact with plants or pets, etc. Exercise, perspiration, and/or tight clothing are also common factors which, either alone or in combination, may often result in skin irritation reactions.
Regarding Bold laundry products, only after prolonged exposure to the concentrated material (as a consequence of misuse or accidents), they are likely to cause skin irritation effects, which are expected to be mild and transient in nature. When a consumer has been normally using Bold for a long time without experiencing any problems and there is a sudden appearance of a skin reaction, it is unlikely that the problem be related to the use of the product. Likewise, one single usage of Bold is very unlikely to be the cause of any skin problem.
Skin Allergies:
True detergent allergies are very rare. It is unlikely that Bold detergents or any ingredients, including perfumes present in them would cause an allergy. Detergents and their ingredients aren't usually in contact with the skin at high levels for long periods of time. Thorough evaluations are done to make sure that Bold products and/or their ingredients, including perfumes do not cause allergies.

Will the Liquitab dissolve completely in the wash?
Absolutely. Each Liquitab is made from a special water-soluble film that is designed to dissolve completely in the wash, leaving nothing but clean laundry. What's more, the dissolved materials are biodegradable and safe for the environment.
